The ādi̩ siddhi̍, (tis) the śara̍ṇa̩, ¦

the gotra̍, in the citta̩; that manne̍r, ju̍st so, a̩nd, (tis) the u̩tpāda̍, |

the sva̍parā̩rtha̍, the tatva̩ a̩rtha̍, ¦

the pra̩bhāva̍ of the pari̩pāka̍’ng bodhi̍, also̩. || 10.1 ||

Jātā̩’ng, ajātā̍’ng, ‸ grāhi̩kā̍’ng, the grāhya̩ bhūtā̍, ¦

from (a) mitra̍ ā̩ttā̍’d, ‸ from one’s svā̩tmata̍, the bhrānti̩kā̍ a̩lso. |

The a̩bhrānta̍’ng a̍nyā̩’ble, ‸ being ā̩mukhā̍, tis no͈tli̍ke that a̍lso a̍nyā’ble, ¦

The ghoṣa̩ ā̩cārā̍, ‸ a̩nd tis e̩ṣikā̍, a̩nd the i̩kṣikā̍ also̩. || 10.2 ||

Shall be hā̩ryā̍’d, the kīrṇā̍’d, ˰ the avyā̍va̩kīrṇā̍’d, by these vi̩pakṣa̍’s, ¦

the hīnā̩’nt udā̍rā, ˰ the ā̩vṛtā̍’ng, the a̍nā̩vṛtā̍’ng also̩, |

the yuktā̍’d, the ayu̩ktā̍’d, ˰ the sa̩mbhṛtā̍’ng, the asa̩mbhṛtā̍’ng also̩, ¦

tis, ve̍ry mu̩ch, the viṣṭā̍’ng, ˰ the dū̩ra·gā̍’nce, a̍nd the a̍dhi̩mukti̍. || 10.3 ||

To a̩mana̍s kāra̩ (in) bāhu̍lya̩, ¦

to kauśī̍dya̩, (is) the yoga̍ vi̩bhrama̍’ng. |

A ku̩mitra̍, (is) the śubha̩ da̍urbalya̍. ¦

No̩t wi̍sely, (is) the a̩mana̍s kriyā̍’ng. || 10.4 ||

(A) pra̩māda̍, alpa̩ being śruta̍tva̩’d also̍, ¦

the śruta̩’s cintā̍’tion, (tis) a̍lpa̩ the tuṣṭa̍tā. |

The śama̩’s mātra̍ a̍bhi̩mana̍s’ng also̩, ¦

that manne̩r, (tis) apa̍ri̩jaya̍’ty the mata̍. || 10.5 ||

A̍nu̩dvega̍, in this manne̩r, (tis an) u̩dvega̍’s ¦

ā̩vṛti̍’tion; also̩, moreover, (tis an) a̩yukta̍tā̩’ness, |

(an) asa̩mbhṛti̍’tion; and shall increase vi̩jñeya̍’ng ¦

the adhi̩mukti̍’s pari̩pantha̍tā̩’ment. || 10.6 ||

Puṇya̍, (tis) for maha̩da̍’ng to kau̩kṛtya̍. ¦

Sau̩manasya̍m, (tis) the sukha̍, (a) maha̍t. |

The a̩vi̍pra̩ṇāśa̍, ˰ the sthairya̍ also̩, ¦

for the vi̩śeṣa̍’nce gama̩na̍’ng, (tis) that manne̩r.|| 10.7 ||

The dharma̩’s a̩bhi̍sa̩maya̍, and the̩n, ¦

(tis a) sva̩·para̍ a̍rtha̩ ā̩pti̍’d, the u̩ttamā̍’st. |

(A) kṣipra̍ a̍bhi̩jñatva̍, (are) these two̩, inde̍ed. ¦

(Tis) from the anu̩śaṃsa̍ (of an) a̍dhi̩mukti̍. || 10.8 ||

Of these kāmi̍nāṃ, (is) she̩, with a̩śva̍ sa̩dṛśī̍’ty. ¦

(Tis) the kūrma̍ pra̩khyā̍’ng, of these sa̩mā̍dhi̩n’as. |

A bhṛtya̍ u̍pa̩mā̍’st, of these svā̩rthi̍n’as, (tis) sā̩. ¦

(Tis a) rāja̍ pra̩khyā̍’ng, of those parā̩rthi̍n’as. || 10.9 ||

That manne̩r, the kāmi̍ sthātṛ̍, ˰ (is a) sva̩ (and) para̍ jana̩ kṛtya̍ a̍rtha̩; t’was udi̍te’d: ¦

“the vi̩śeṣa̍ shall vi̩jñeya̍, ˰ co̩nsta̍ntly, with adhi̩mukti̍, (tis) for vi̩vidha̍.” |

In the mahā̩yā̩na, of tha̎t, ˰ vidhi̍vad’ng he̩re, having matvā̍’d, (tis) for para̩matā̍. ¦

To a hi̍gh de̩gre̍e, in tha͈t, the dhīra̍, ˰ alwa̩ys he̍re, for he͈r, ju̍st so̩, might ought vṛṇu̍yāt. || 10.10 ||

Those manu̍ṣa̩ bhūtā’s̍, ˰ for sa̩mbodhi̍, ¦

they prāpnu̩va̍nti̩, pra̍ti̩kṣaṇa̍’ng. |

Would be most a̍pra̩meyā̍’ble, fro̩m whe̍nce, the sa̩ttvā̍, ¦

(is) for la̩ya̍; no̩t from i̍t, could one adhi̩vāsa̍yet. || 10.11 ||

Whi̍ch manne̩r, puṇya̍ pra̩sava̍te’s; ¦

for para̩’st e̩ṣā̍, (tis) bhoja̩na̍ da̩da̍t’ng. |

No̩t inde̍ed, one̩’s se̍lf, i̩t (is) bhuñjā̍na̩’ng. ¦

Tha̩t manne̍r, (tis) the puṇya̩ (a) mahā̍ u̍daya̩’ng. || 10.12 ||

The sūtra̩, tis u̩kta̍’d, is labhya̍te̩’d, from dharma̍, ¦

from para̩’st a̩rtha̍ a̍śraya̩ deśi̍ta’d. |

No̍t indee̩d, from sva̍·a̍rtha̩’s a̩śraya̍, from dharma̍, ¦

from being deśi̩ta̍’d, tis it upa̩labhya̍te’d. || 10.13 ||

So̩, in the vi̩pula̍’s gati̍, in the mahā̩ u̩gha̍ of dharma̍, ¦

shall be jani̍ya’ng, alwa̩ys, the possessing of mati̍, (tis) for mahā̍ a̍dhi̩mukti̍. |

The vi̩pula̍, consta̩ntly puṇya̍, thence for vi̩vṛddhi̍, ¦

vraja̍ti’s, with guṇa̍’s a̩sama̍, to the mahā̩ ā̩tmatā̍ also̩. || 10.14 ||
