Citta Utpāda Adhikāra Interlingua
Kārikā Prathamaḥ
(A) mahā̩ u̩tsāhā̍, mahā̩ ā̩rambhā̍, ¦
mahā̩ a̩rthā̍, the̍n, (a) mahā̩ u̩dayā̍, |
(is) the ceta̩nā̍, of these bodhi̩sattva̍'s. ¦
(Tis a) dvaya̩ a̩rthā̍, the ci̩tta̍ sa̩mbhava̍. || 4.1 ||
Kārikā Dvitīyaḥ
The citta̩ u̩tpāda̍'ng, adhi̩mokṣa̍, (is) tha̍t one, ¦
(a) śuddha̩'d a̩dhyāśa̍yika̩, a̩para̍'d. |
Vai̩pākya̍'nd, in these bhūmi̩'s, (is) the mata̍; ¦
that manne̩r, (tis) the vara̍ṇa̩ varji̍ta'd. || 4.2 ||
Kārikā Tṛtīyaḥ
Karu̍ṇā, (tis a) mūla̩ iṣṭa̍'d, tha̩t one, ¦
alwa̩ys, (a) satva̍ hita̩ ̇ng a̩śaya̍. |
The dharma̍ a̍dhi̩mokṣa̍, (tis) tha̩t, the jñāna̍ ¦
paryeṣṭy ā̩lamba̍na ̇ng; (tis) tha̩t manner. || 4.3 ||
Kārikā Caturthaḥ
U̩ttara̍ chanda̩ yāna̍'ng, (is) that one, ¦
the prati̩ṣṭhā̍ ̇ness, the śī̩la̍ sa̩ṃvṛti̍'ng, |
the utthā̩panā̍; of vi̩pakṣa̍, ¦
(tis) the pari̩pantha̍, the a̍dhi̩vāsa̍nā. || 4.4 ||
Kārikā Pañcamaḥ
(A) śubha̍ vṛddhy (of) anu̩saṃsa̍, (is) that o̩ne, ¦
(a) puṇya̍ jñāna̩ maya̍ ̇ng; he̩ (is), assuredly, |
alwa̍ys, a pāra̩mitā̍, yo̩ga̍ ¦
ni̩ryāṇa̍ ̇ng also, sa̩kathya̍te ̇d. || 4.5 ||
Kārikā Ṣaṣtaḥ
The bhūmi̍ paryava̩sāna̍, that one, ¦
individu̩ally, tha̍t from the co̩nseque̍nce, |
shall vi̩jñeya̍, of these bodhi̩sattva̍ ̇s, ¦
the citta̩ ̇s u̩tpāda̍ ̇ng vini̩ścaya̍. || 4.6 ||
Kārikā Saptamaḥ
From the mitra̩ ̇s bala̍, from the hetu̩ ̇s bala̍, ¦¦
from the mūla̩ ̇s bala̍, from śruta̩'s bala̍, from śubha̩ ̇s a̩bhyāsa̍, |
the a̩dṛḍha̍ (and) the dṛḍha̩ u̩daya̍'ng, (t'was) u̩kta̍ ̇d, ¦¦
(tis) the citta̩'s u̩tpāda̍, from para̩ the ā̩khyāna̍. || 4.7 ||
Kārikā Aṣtamaḥ
In the sū̩pāsi̍ta'd sa̩mbuddha̍, ¦¦
in sa̩mbhūta̍ the jñāna̩ (and) puṇya̍ sa̩mbhāra̍'ng, |
in these dharma̍'s, from the ni̩rvi̍kalpa̩'ng ¦¦
jñāna̍ pra̩sava̍, (is) the parama̩ ̇st a̩rthatā̍. || 4.8 ||
Kārikā Navamaḥ
In these Dharma̍'s, a̩nd in these Sattva̍'s also̩, ¦¦
is that, in these kṛtya̍'s, in the u̩ttama̍ ̇st, a̩nd in buddha̍tva. |
From (being) sama̩citta̍ ̇d (of) u̍pā̩lambha̍, ¦¦
the prā̩modya̍ vi̩śiṣṭa̍tā, tis of tha͈t. || 4.9 ||
Kārikā Daśamaḥ
The janma̩ u̩dārya̍, (tis) out of that, ¦¦
the u̩tsāha̍, the śuddhi̍ of ā̩śaya̍; moreo̩ver, |
(tis) for kauśa̍lya'nes, in the pari̩śiṣṭa̍, ¦¦
for ni̩ryāṇa̍, also̩ just so̍, for the vi̩jñeya̍. || 4·10 ||
Kārikā Ekādaśaḥ
From the dharma̍ a̍dhi̩mukti̍ ̇s bī̩ja̍, ¦¦
(tis) the pāra̩mitā̍; from (a) śreṣṭha̩ mātṛ̍, the jā̩ta̍. |
For dhyāna̍, in a̩ya̍'ng, within (a) sukha̩ garbha̍, ¦¦
(tis) karu̍ṇā, sa̩ṃvardhi̍kā̩'ng, the dhātrī̍. || 4.11 ||
Kārikā Dvādaśaḥ
For au̩dārya̍, (tis) the vi̩jñeya̍, ¦¦
from the praṇi̩dhāna̍ (of) the mahā̩ daśa̍ a̍bhini̩rhāra̍. |
The u̩tsāha̍ bo̩ddhavya̍'d, ¦¦
(tis) from (a) du̩ṣkara̍'s dī̩rgha̍'d a̍dhika̩ ā̩kheda̍. || 4.12 ||
Kārikā Trayodaśaḥ
From ā̩sanna̍ bodhi̩ bodha̍, ¦¦
tha̩t, (tis) from the u̍pā̩ya̍ jñāna̩ lābha̍ ̇ng; also̩ the̩reto, |
the ā̍śaya̩ śuddhi̍, shall be jñe̩yā̍'d, ¦¦
for kau̩śa̍lya; in sooth, othe̩rwi̍se, (tis) to the bhūmi̩ gata̍'ng. || 4.13 ||
Kārikā Caturdaśaḥ
Ni̩ryāṇa̍, for the vi̩jñeya̍, ¦¦
which manner, in the vyava̩sthāna̍ of mana̍s, (tis) by kāra̍. |
Tha͈t, (tis) the kalpa̍na̩tā, from jñāna̍'ng, ¦¦
by avi̩kalpa̍nā; (tis) also̩, of tha̍t, most ce̍rtainly. || 4.14 ||
Kārikā Pañcadaśaḥ
Pṛthi̍vī, (tis) sa̩ma̍ (for) u̩tpāda̍ ̇ng, ¦¦
kalyā̍ṇa su̩varṇa̍ sanni̩bhas ̇ng also̍; mo̍reover, |
(is) the śukla̍ (of a) nava̩ candra̍ sa̩dṛśa̍'ng. ¦¦
(Tis) vahni̍ pra̩khya̍ ̇ng; (an) apara̩ ̇d u̩cchrāya̍ || 4.15 ||
Kārikā Ṣoḍaśaḥ
Bhūya̍s, ma̩hā̍ni̩dhāna̍va̩t; ¦¦
(tis) ano̍ther, a ratnā̩kara̍; which manne̍r, i̍n this wa̩y, is ano̩ther one, |
(a) sāga̍ra sa̩dṛśa̍, shall be jñeya̩'d; ¦¦
is (a) vajra̍ pra̩khya̍'ng; is acala̩ ̇ble i̩ndra̍ ni̩bha̍s ̇able. || 4.16 ||
Kārikā Saptadaśaḥ
(A) bhaiṣa̍jya rāja̩ sadṛśa̍, ¦¦
(a) mahā̍ su̩hṛt sa̍nni̩bha̍, apara̩'d, shall be jñeya̍'d. |
(A) cintā̩maṇi̍ pra̩kāśa̍, ¦¦
dina̩kara̍ sa̩dṛśa̍,apa̩ra̍, shall be jñe̩ya'd. || 4.17 ||
Kārikā Aṣṭādaśaḥ
The gandha̍rva̩ madhu̍ra̩ having ghoṣa̍va̩t, ¦¦
ano̍ther, (a) rāja̩ u̩pama̍ ̇st, apara̩ ̇d, shall be jñeya̍'d, |
(a) koṣṭha̩ ā̩gāra̍ pra̩khya'ng. ¦¦
The mahā̍ patha̩ (in) sama̍, that wa̩y, ju̩st so̍, tis a̍no̩ther. || 4.18 ||
Kārikā Navadaśaḥ
The yāna̩ ̇s sama̍, shall be vi̩jñeya̍ ̇d. ¦¦
Gandharva̩ sama̍ also̩, (tis) from ceta̍s, the pra̩bhava̍; |
(tis) ā̩nanda̍ śabda̩ sadṛśa̍; ¦¦
(a) mahā̩ nadī̍ śrota̩s sadṛśa̍, also̩. || 4.19 ||
Kārikā Viṃśaḥ
The megha̍ sa̩dṛśa̍ also̩, t'was kathi̍ta'd, ¦¦
(is) the citta̩ ̇s u̩tpāda̍ ̇ng, to the ji̩na̍ ̇s ā̍tma̩ jānā̍, really; |
from tha̩t, like ma̍nner, (tis) for guṇā̩ḍhya̍. ¦¦
The ci̩tta̍, with these mudi̩ta̍'s, (tis) samu̩tpādya̍'d. || 4.20 ||
Kārikā Ekaviṃśaḥ
From a parā̍rtha̩ ̇s citta̍, therefo̩re, from the upā̍ya̩ lābha̍tas, ¦
amongst these mahā̍ a̍bhi̩sandhy̍ artha̩ ̇s, (tis) from tatva̍ darśa̩na̍'ng. |
The mahā̩ a̩rha ̇d citta̍ u̍daya̩ ̇ng varji̍tā'd, these ja̩na̍'s, ¦
to śama̍, they shall gami̩ṣyanti̍; having vi̩hāya̍'d tha̩t sukha̍. || 4.21 ||
Kārikā Dvāviṃśaḥ
Saha̩'ng, from the u̩daya̍'ng, of the citta̩ vara̍, of (a) dhī̩ma̍t, ¦
(tis a) susa̩ṃvṛta̍'d ci̩tta̍, from a̩nanta̍'ng du̩ṣkṛta̍. |
By sukha̍, by du̩ḥkha̍ also̩, moda̍te̩'d, alwa̍ys, ¦
(are) the śubhī̍, the kṛpā̍lu̩, and also̍ the vi̩vardha̍na̩'ng dvaya̍. || 4.22 ||
Kārikā Trayoviṃśaḥ
Which ti̍me, the a̍na̩pekṣa̍, in sva̩śarī̍ra̩ (and) jīvi̍ta, ¦
the para̩'st a̩rtha̍ a̩bhyeti̍'s, to (a) pa̩ra̍'st pari̩śrama̍. |
By para̍'st u̍pa̩ghāta̍, that manne̩r, the vidha̍, prayte̩ll, ¦
i̎t, in du̩ṣkṛta̍, in karma̍n, shall sampra̩vartsya̍ti. || 4.23 ||
Kārikā Caturviṃśaḥ
For māya̍'s u̍pa̩ma'st, having vīkṣya̍'d, he (is) for sarva̩ these dharma̍'s. ¦
For u̩dyāna̍'ng on a yā̩trā̍, like tha̩t, also̍ (are) these u̍pa̩patti̍'s, |
from kleśa̍, a̩nd from duḥkha̍ also̩; (one) bi̍bhe̩ti̍'s no̩t tha̩t, ¦
in (a) sa̍mpatti̩ kāla̍, moreo̩ver, in (a) vi̍patti̩ kāla̍. || 4.24 ||
Kārikā Pañcaviṃśaḥ
Svakā̩, (are) these guṇa̍'s, from satva̩ hita̍, a̩nd moda̍; ¦
having sa̩ñcintya̍'d, janma̩'ng (a) ṛddhi̍ vi̩kurvi̍ta'ng, also̩. |
For vi̩bhūṣa̍ṇa'ng, for bhoja̍na'ng, (tis) the agra̩ bhūmi̍. ¦
The krīḍā̍, the rati̍, the nitya̩ kṛpā̍, (are) of these ā̍tma̩ka̍'d. || 4.25 ||
Kārikā Ṣaḍviṃśaḥ
For para̩'st a̩rtha̍, of (a) u̩dyoga̍vat, (tis) the kṛpā̩ ā̩tma̍n; ¦
verily, the a̩vīci̍, e̩ven, (one) eti̍'s; from which, of tha͈t, (tis) for (a) ramya̍tā. |
From whe̩nce, agai̍n, (doth) trasya̩ti̍, anyo̩ne who̍msoever, O' Bha̩va̍n, ¦
by these para̩'st ā̩śraya̍'s, by these duḥkha̩ sa̍mu̩dbhava̍'s, in the bha̩va̍. || 4.26 ||
Kārikā Saptaviṃśaḥ
Of the mahā̩ kṛpa̍ ā̍cārya̩, (t'was) alwa̍ys, u̍ṣita̩'ng the ā̩tma̍n. ¦
Of the para̩'st, with these duḥkha̍'s, (tis) from (an) upa̩tapta̍'d ce̩ta̍s. |
Of the para̩'st, in kṛtya̍, (tis) in sa̩mu̍pa̩sthita̍, once a̩gain. ¦
With these para̍'st, from sa̩mā̍dāpa̩na̍'ng, (t'was) ati̩lajja̍nā. || 4.27 ||
Kārikā Aṣṭāviṃśaḥ
Within the śira̩s, (tis a) vi̍ni̩hita̍'ng, and (a) satva̩ bhāra̍. ¦
The śithi̩la gati̍, surely no̩t, śobha̍te's, (an) agra̩'st sattva̍. |
Sva̩para̍ vi̩vidha̍ bandha̩na̍'ng a̍ti̩baddha̍'d, ¦
for (a) śata̩ guṇa̍'s u̩tsaha̍, (tis) arha̩ti̍, to pra̩kartu̍m. || 4.28 ||
