Śaraṇa Gamana Viśeṣa Saṅgraha Interlingua
Kārikā Prathamaḥ
These ratna̍ ̇s, ‐ he whom, veri̩ly, on account of the śara̍ṇa pra̩gata̍ ̇ng, here, within the yāna̍ ‐, shall be jñeya̩ ̇d;
i̍t (is), just so̩, the para̍ma ̇st, for śara̩ṇa, of these gata̍na ̇s, |
with these a̩ll pervadi̍ng a̍bhyupa̩gama̍ a̍dhi̩gama̍ a̍bhi̩bhūti̍
bhe̩da̍ ̇s, with (a) catu̩r·vidha̍·maya̩ (of an) a̩rtha̍ vi̩śeṣa̍ṇa. || 2.1 ||
Kārikā Dvitīyaḥ
From whi̍ch, in the beginning, ‸ (tis a) du̩ṣ·kara̍, this vyava̩sāya̍, ¦
(a) du̩ḥ·sādha̍, tha̩t one; ‸ no̍t with o̍ne sa̩hasra̍, therefo̩re, kalpa̍ ̇s, |
(is) the siddha̍; from whi̩ch, ‸ in (a) sattva̍ hita̩ ā̩dhāna̍ mahā̩ a̩rtha̍, ¦
from tha̩t, at the agra̍, ‸ (tis) the yā̩na̍, at this ti̩me, (an) agra śara̍ṇa̩ a̩rtha̍. || 2.2 ||
Kārikā Tṛtīyaḥ
For everyo̍ne, having had a sattva̩, ‸ to tāra̍; he who̩m (is) pra̍ti̩panna̍ ̇d, ¦
in the yāna̍, in jñāna̍, ‸ in eve̩ry gata̍ ̇ng, is kauśa̍lya yukta̍ ̇d. |
He whom, (is) in ni̩rvāṇa̍, ‸ in sa̩ṃsara̍ṇa ̇s also, o̩ne rasa̍; that o̩ne, ¦
the jñeya̍, the dhīma̍t, ‸ (is) this, ve̩rily, all perva̩ding, thu̍s. || 2.3 ||
Kārikā Caturthaḥ
To śara̍ṇa̩ gati̍, (tis) thi̩s, gata̍ ̇ng to the mahā̩ a̩rthā̍, ¦
for (a) guṇa̩ gaṇa̩ ̇ng vṛddhi̍, u̩paiti̍’s doth one̩, to the a̩pra̍me̩yā̍. |
Sphura̍ti ̇s, the jaga̍t, thi̩s, the kṛpā̍, with śaya̩. ¦
Pratha̍yati ̇s, also̩, to the a̩prati̍ma, to the mahā̩ a̩rtha̍ dharma̍. || 2.4 ||

(Kārikā Navamā)
For the mahā̍ puṇya̩ skandha̍, ˰ for the tri̩bhuva̍na guru̩tva̍, for (a) bhava̩ ̇s sukha̍, ¦
for the mahā̍ duḥkha̩ skandha̍, ˰ pra̩śama̍, api̩, (tis) the buddhi̍ ̇s u̍ttama̩ ̇st sukha̍. |
For the mahā̍ dharma̩ skandha̍, ˰ for the pra̩vara̍ dhruva̩ ̇s kāya̍, for (a) śubha̩ caya̍, ¦
to ni̩vṛtti̍, (are) these vāsa̩ ̇s a̩ya̍ ̇ng; ˰ for bhava̩, śa̍m, to avi̩mokṣa̍, ca̩ labha̍te ̇s. || 2.9 ||
(Kārikā Daśamā)
From (a) śubha̩ u̩dārya̍, (is) the dhī̩ma̍t; ˰ abhi̩bhava̍ti ̇s (doth) he̩, the śrāva̍ka̩ gaṇa̍. ¦
From the mahā̍ a̍rthatva̩ a̩nantya̍; ˰ co̩nsta̍ntly, i̩mmeasura̍bly also̩, o’ a̩kṣaya̍, (tis) with he̩r. |
Śubha̍, (tis) for the laukya̩ (and) the a̩laukya̍; ˰ the̩n, thereto̍, for pari̩pāka̍ ̇ng the pra̩kara̍ṇa. ¦
With (a) vi̩bhutva̍, for a̍vā̩pta̍ ̇ng; ˰ therefo̩re, in the upa̍dhi̩ (of) śama̍, (tis) also̩, the a̩kṣaya̍, thereto̩. || 2.10 ||
(Kārikā Ekādasā)
Tha̩t, from bhāva̍ the prā̩rtha̍nā, ˰ a̩bhyu̍pa̩gama̍na ̇ng thi̩s, ˰ that (is) for mata̍ ̇ng, a̩nd from kṛpā̍. ¦
From sarva̩ a̩kāra̍ (of) jña̩tā̍, ˰ for (a) hita̩ ̇ed sukha̍ ka̩ra̍ṇa ̇ng, ˰ in these du̩ṣkara̍ ̇s, therefore, (is) the a̩kheda̍. |
In the ni̩ryāṇa̍, with sarva̩ yāna̍ ̇s, ˰ by prati̩śara̍ṇa̩ (upon) guṇa̍, ˰ (tis) for anvita̩tva̍, also̩ for (being) nitya̍. ¦
From sa̩ṅketa̍, from dharma̩tā̍, ˰ (is) the śara̩ṇa̍ gama̩natā̍, ˰ of these dhīma̩ta̍ ̇s; o’ u̩ttama̍ ̇st, thi̩s. || 2.11 ||
