The vijñapti mātra, just so, (is) this, ¦

from (an) asat artha avabhāsana°ng. |

Which manner, of being like a taimirika, (is) the asat, ¦

(a) keśa candra adidarśana'ng. || 1 ||

Not, the deśa kāla niyama, ¦

the santāna^āaniyama not also, |

not also shall be kṛtya°d, the kriyā, the yuktā, ¦

the vijñapti, if not, indeed. || 2 ||

The deśa adiniyama, (tis) the siddha thereto. ¦

Svapna°like, preta°ly, moreover, |

(is) the santāna'ty (in) aniyama, with these sarva, ¦

by the pūya nadī, in adidarśana. || 3 ||

Svapna^oupaghātavat, shall be kṛtya°d, ¦

the kriyā, narakavat, again. |

Sarva, in naraka pāla^āadi¦

darśana, with those, (tis) also in bādhana. || 4 ||

Of tiraścām, (is) the sambhava in svarga; ¦

which manner, (art) not in naraka; that manner, |

(art) not, of those preta°s, from whatever (is) tajja ¦

(of) duḥkha.They (do) not anubhavanti those. || 5 ||

If that, by those karman, therein, ¦

of these bhūta, (is) the sambhava; that manner, |

(is) iṣyate°d the pariṇāma, also. ¦

For what (is) of vijñāna, (tis) not iṣyate°d. || 6 ||

From karman, the vāsanā, (is) otherwise, ¦

the phala, otherwise, kalpyate°d. |

Therein, just so, (tis) neṣyate°d, in which, ¦

(is) the vāsanā, what, now, (is) the kāraṇa. || 7 ||

For rūpa ādya āyatana astitva, ¦

so also, for the vineya jana, opposing, |

(tis) from abhiprāya vaśa, (twas) ukta°d. ¦

(Tis like) upapāduka sattvavat. || 8 ||

From which, from the svabīja, the vijñapti, ¦

that, ābhāsā like, pravartate°s. |

The dvividhā, by āyatanatva, ¦

these two, of that (vijñapti), the munir did abravīt. || 9 ||

That manner, (is) the pudgala nairātmya ¦

praveśa, indeed, (tis) another manner, again. |

The deśanā, (tis) the dharma nairātmya ¦

praveśa, with (a) kalpita°d ātman. || 10 ||

Not in this manner, for eka, not also, for aneka, ¦

is the viṣaya, loftiest of minute particles. |

Not also, (are) they saṃhata, from such, ¦

(a) parama aṇu (doth) not sidhyati. || 11 ||

By the ṣaṭka, simultaneously, from being yoga°d, ¦

parama°st of the aṇu, (tis) the ṣaḍ aṅśatā, |

of these ṣaṣ, similarly, from the deśatva, ¦

the piṇḍa, ought syād perhaps, the aṇu mātraka. || 12 ||

Of the parama aṇu, in asaṃyoga, ¦

that, in saṅghāta, asti; of which, he, |

not also by anavayavatva, ¦

that saṃyoga, not sidhyati°s. || 13 ||

The dig·bhāga bheda, of which, asti ¦

of that, (tis) to ekatva, not yujyate°d. |

The chāyā, the āvṛtī, pray tell, sometimes, (tis an) other one, ¦

not the piṇḍa, and also not of that, those two. || 14 ||

In ekatva, not by the krama, (is) the eti, ¦

bound together, not both the graha and agraha. |

The vicchinna°d aneka°d vṛtti, and ¦

the sūkṣma anīkṣā also, for us, ought bhavet. || 15 ||

The pratyakṣa buddhi, (tis) in the svapna ādi, ¦

which manner, she also, always, |

not that artha (is) dṛśyate°d; of that, ¦

for pratyakṣa, thou (art), pray tell how, for mata°ing. || 16 ||

T'was ukta°d, which manner thus, (tis) ābhāsā ¦

the vijñapti, for smaraṇa therefrom, |

in svapnadṛś; for the viṣaya abhāva, ¦

not āprabuddha, avagacchati°s || 17 ||

To one another, by adhipatitva, ¦

(tis) the vijñapti niyama, mutually, |

with middha, for the upahata°d citta. ¦

In the svapna, by that, (tis) for asama phala. || 18 ||

For maraṇa, from paravijñapti ¦

viśeṣa, vikriyā, which manner, |

the smṛti lopa ādikā, of the others, ¦

(tis) the piśāca adi manas, from vaśa. || 19 ||

How pray tell, (tis) also, the daṇḍa·kāraṇya ¦

śūnyatva... the ṛṣi, through anger, |

mano·daṇḍo mahā avadyaḥ. ¦

In what way, indeed, by that, (it) sidhyati°s. || 20 ||

For the paracitta vidā, the jñāna, ¦

(tis) incongruous, as to artha; praytell, which manner, |

the svacitta jñāna, (tis) from ajñāna; ¦

which manner, of the buddha, the gocara. || 21 ||

The vijñapti mātratā, the siddhi, ¦

the svaśakti, similar, with me, |

twould I kṛteyam, every manner; she, indeed, ¦

(is) not cintyā°ble, the buddha gocara. || 22 ||
